I really like that image, though I also have some critiques:
* The wheat does look too sharp and bumpy. It could be more soft and fluffy.
* The little farm house looks like chocolate. It could use other colors and / or some better textures (or textures at all)
* The cow's shadow could be lighter

Now the things that are looking awesome:
* The whole background sky
* The mountain!!
* The motion light tail at the wings of the wind mills

For the time being I have no real material I can show here. I only made some Blender renders for my Bachelor thesis, and I can not publish them.. But I will be back with real art soon, hopefully.

if it is your thesis why are you not aloud to publish (post on the internet)? Is it one of those schools that claim ownership of everything their students do?

It's not wheat, it's prairie grass. :P
The house has simple a hand-painted stroke texture which is a specific style I was shooting for.
Cows do not have antlers where I live. :P

Anyway, thanks for the input. The sky is hand-painted and took quite a bit of work.

I think I can publish the pictures or the whole thesis, when I have finished it. After all, it is my thesis, you're right. But for now I don't want to publish it, because I am not 100% sure about the policy of the university.
