Hi there folks. Sorry I've been absent from BU for an amazingly long time and infact from Blender itself due to busy work commitments. I've practically had to re-learn Blender all over again.

Anyhow I've been busy following Andrew Price's (a.k.a. Blender Guru) tutorials on using Cycles lately and here is what I managed to drum up over a couple of nights after following his city scene tutorial which you can also follow if you go to http://www.blenderguru.com/videos/how-to-create-a-city. It is very good. Has anyone else had a go too?

I've got to say that I'm seriously impressed with Cycles and reckon I'll be using it more from now on. I'm not sure how it compares to LuxRender which I love, but it certainly seems to render complex scenes a lot faster.

Ciao for now.

Very nice, I've been wanting to check out that tutorial, just haven't had the chance yet. I just got home from the hospital, so maybe I'll watch it when the morphine wears off. Andrew's tutorials tend to be top notch.
