Making bricks from node textures

Interesting tutorial on making brick textures using the new node option available in the 2.49 Blender texture option.

Which materials in the blender matarials database is using the new node system?

I am not sure if it is materials.

It's within the nodes. You add 'patterns' one it the brick and the other is the checker pattern. I would have thought this is a new tut as it's only available if you have 2.49.

yes because 2.49 introduced Texture Nodes. Its the same area as the Iris tuts.

Thanks for linking to it though.. its a sweet tut and you really should look at the example xcf to see how he modeled the scene and did the lighting.

Yeah, I downloaded the scene as well. Thats a good education there too.
