Very good. Nice relaxed style. Like to see some more on the material nodes. Keep it up :)

Thanks for the comments, and i do intend to do more with texture nodes as ive found myself, the basic texture options may not be enough to get the desired effect.

Nice tutorials. The planet could be useful as I am current going through a science fiction phase and doing some space ships. If I ever finish one I now have a backdrop besides the stars.

In regards to rendering in the second planet tutorial, to get everything to render go to scene [F10] underneath the [Anim] button there is a [Do Composite] button you need to click.

I watched the first one and liked the effect, too much work, not enough blender time, sigh.....

OK just watched the electricity tuts- a really nice effect. I have some suggestions though
#1 I hate to watch people render
#2 I hate to watch people him and haw about coloring materials
#3 I hate to watch people "just messing around"
to summarize, respect my time, If you are making a vid tut run through it first, know what you want to say and do and write out a script. Then make the tut and then edit it! Taking out the pauses etc. Windows movie maker is actually good enough to do this.

#4 I would like to see a view node hooked up to each step in the composite. You can then make an image window and set it to the active view node and make changes and show what happens each step of the noodle. Again, edit out the 10 seconds it takes to update each view node change.

#5 I would love to see an animated render of the electricity - you don't have to show how to do it, just the animated effect.

Thanks for all your hard work.

Ok thanks for the advice, ill keep it in mind when doing other tuts.
Sorry for wasting a decent amount of your time though :(
For the animation, the guy who made the original electric, the link is the discription, he has (i think) 2 animtions of it.
