I found this site after much searching. Some may know about it already, but if you are new to Blender like I am, the videos are really awesome, and will get you up to speed in a hurry. They are for version 2.57. Hope it helps someone like it did me.

Yup, I would have recommended it to you in your other thread, but you had asked for tutorials regarding 2.49. I don't know much about 2.49 myself.
