Hello everyone, I am trying to use an empty to project a png image onto a character. Trying to put a tattoo on a character without uv mapping. Everything works fine but of course when I pose the character or rotate the arm the empty doesnt rotate with it. I tried parenting to the mesh, the closest bone, etc. I looked at the constraints and tried a few but am way over my head with those and am not sure if this is even possible. The parented empty moves with the character when I just move it in object mode but the rotation is what I really need.
Thanks for any help.

Are you parenting the empty to the bone in pose mode? If you do it in edit mode it will not work. If you still can't parent to the bone, use a vertex parent. Select the empty, [Shift] select the mesh and [Tab] into edit mode. select 3 vertices around the area where you want the tatoo and press [ctrl][P].
