Is it that time of year for a tutorial release Apollos? I'm anxious for Part 6 the UV edition. Could use its guidance for the J2 project. I'm at the point that all I need now for the Astrogator is the uVs that I've been avoiding. 8)

If you're wanting UV mapping, that wasn't planned until Part 7. :(

Unfortunately I haven't been working on Part 6 very much, I'll confess. I've been spending time on other stuff, including the written tutorials on the main site.

There's got to be a good UV mapping tutorial out there though. Have you tried Graybeard's from the blender.org site?

It will wait then. It isn't like the J2 is going anywhere..... :P

Nobody does tutorials like BU (in short, YOU!)

Sorry guys. Nothing's happening at the moment. I'd love tell you "it's in the works" or "not very much longer" but it's not the case.

Right now life and studies are taking a priority...

Yes then there's the hosting issues!

I'm looking at it this way: if we've worked it so that The Man's server is serving up Blender Basics, then our finger is in his eye. :P

LOL Thanks Dan....

But really thank you... I thought it might be a printed publication. guess not...

[EDITED: To Avoid a Double Post] Huh, PDF publications are always nice. I really like the layout being made more for screen reading then printing it seems. Paperless so it good for the environment. and I like the subject matter so that good too.

All and all I'm going to mark this for my online Bookmarking service once I find a good one I like...

have you seen the BlenderNewbies toolbar? it'll fit nicely into firefox and comes with rss feeds for BA, BU, and a host of other good stuff.

Dan
