Hi, I was told how good the tutorials are but I can't view them.

When I first tried to view the tutorials it too me to the XVID download page on Apple.com so I downloaded the XVID codec and put it in the Quicktime folder but I still get a white screen. I do get audio but no video.

Please Help I really want to watch these videos. Any ideas?

Thanks :)

first welcome to the Underground... Second, I've had not troubles with a fresh in stall and nothing else of a media program call VLC.

It's open source and pretty capable. Sure it not eye candy but it opens the BU Video tutorials with out a hitch....

you can download it from here... http://www.fr.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html

Hey ninja Crow, thanks for the link. I may be getting closer. I just downloaded it. I then went to the video page and clicked a link to a tutorial. It works but the video plays static and only lasts about 4 seconds. Do you just click the video tutorial or do you somehow open the tutorial through the VLC interface?

The first 4-5 seconds are static...

Try downloading the file before playing it.

the static is actully part of teh video... it's kinda an inside joke... let it go on and you'll see it not an error... That caught me off guard to my first time...
