How to smooth corners when going from illustrator to 3d max? When I import shapes from Illustrator to 3ds max and I modify to bevel or extrude, the edges have to many corners even when I run the smooth modifier. Can anybody tell why is this? How can I fix it?

Just a little confused here. I don't mind answering any questions I can here on the BLENDER underground but 3D max is a little out of the area of expertise around these parts. Or am I missing something?

Wow, I have to agree with DaveC here. I use Both Autodesk Maya and Blender, and even here, I try and make some connection to blender when I bring up Maya, I especially don't ask about Maya Solely...

Can I make a suggestion of what forums you should ask this question at however.

cgsociety.org - Autodesk 3ds Max forums

This would be a more proper place to ask.

While Blender does much of what 3D Studios Max and Maya can do, It does so in such a vastly different way that if we told you how to do what You asked in blender, It wouldn't help you at all.

That looks slightly suspicious. FOUR laughing smileys, reverend? Is there something you're hiding?
