I just saw this on Blue Ray DVD, while the story is an old and worn out one, Disney did a fine job on the 3D graphics and sequences as usual. I don't know what it says about an actor's career when they do "Scrooge" but so many have in the past including Patrick Stewart and now Jim Carey has joined the long list. I noticed they kept to the book/script with the exception of a radical 3D chase scene between Scrooge and a rather nightmarish funeral coach. While there were no surprises or the use of Jim Carey's unusual comic talent, the 3D was up to par with other movies. I suppose if you need a movie to pop on this season for little kids and family to watch then this would be a good one. But it strikes me as nothing more than the average film.

3 out of 5
