This site is intended for promoting learning and community surrounding the blender application. Comments are encouraged! However this blog is unapologetically moderated. Inappropriate language and conduct are discouraged. Banning of users and deleting of comments will occur at the discretion of the moderator. Here are some things to keep in mind if you intend to post:

- Don’t be a troll.

- Don’t be a bully. Focus on constructive comments intended to build up others or criticize thoughtfully; avoid negative attitudes intended to belittle others or discourage creative development.

- Colorful language will be sparingly tolerated if it is appropriately self-censored; i.e., g*sh g*lly! However don’t be surprised if inappropriate language is censored or removed by the moderator. This is a family-friendly site.

- Bigotry of any sort is not tolerated, including but not limited to: religion, race, nationality, sex, age, hair color, eye color, pet preference, favorite ice cream, hobbies, undergarment preference, ancestry, music preference, stature, movie and TV likes/dislikes, or browser choice.

- Gratuitous and excessive smileying is frowned upon; and mrgreen is absolutely prohibited.

- Variations on the phrase “first” in comments that happen to be the first response to a blog post will be edited or deleted. This includes, but is not limited to, phrases such as: “I’m first”, “f1rst”, “firsty first”, “1st”, etc. The fact that your comment actually appears first in the list of comments is enough to signal to most reasonable people that you were the first commenter.

- There are no loopholes! Your good behavior will determine your ability to post comments and discuss subjects with other users.

- Any member found to be spying for The Man will be immediately banned, at which point all Blender Underground assets and associates will be immediately relocated to someone else’s mom’s basement.

- Rules of Conduct will be capriciously and spontaneously rewritten at the whim of the moderator, so check back often.

- Have fun with it! Life is short, often hard, so let’s have fun with blender and live it up a little.
